Just grab a cute glass, dip the rim in a little hot honey, roll it in sugar, and pour in your favorite seltzer or flavored sparkling water. Slice up an orange and toss one in for color and flavor and BOOM!!

Ok I know Dry January sounds like a great idea until you’re on like day five and then at night you just want a little something something. I totally recommend this Tart Cherry Mocktail when those night cravings hit! It’s got that moody vibe of a classic nightcap cocktail, but it is lighter, cleaner, and a whole lot friendlier to your sleep and hormones. Try it!

• 2 oz tart cherry juice (unsweetened)
• ¼ oz fresh lemon juice
• ½ tsp monk fruit syrup or a few drops of stevia (optional)
• A splash of orange sparkling water and a few dashes of NA orange bitters

Shake the first three together, pour over ice, top with the bubbles and bitters and stir, feel feee to toss in an orange peel or cherry if you’re feeling extra. I always feel@a little extra 💋

This Ginger Sparkler is soooo good. It’s spicy, fresh, and does more for your body than a glass of wine ever could. It helps your liver do its thing, reduces inflammation, and keeps blood sugar steady…all while tasting like a spicy treat.

Ginger Sparkler
• 1 cup sparkling water

In sobriety, your brain is gonna want something to do. It needs an outlet. A space to decompress. To play, to create, to find yourself again...

A hobby gives you that. It fills the space where drinking used to live. And it fills it with you.

It’s Friday night and you want a non-alcoholic margarita…and quick! Skip the tequila, keep the flavor.
Last night I ordered a margarita with ginger beer instead of the tequila (and any other alcohol they put in like triple sec etc) and it was chef’s kiss. You can totally do the same at your fave Mexican spot.

But if you’re home, here’s my go-to:

Quickie No-Rita (aka the 3-2-1 Method):
• 3 parts ginger beer
• 2 parts lime juice
• 1 part hot honey simple syrup
• Optional: 1 part apple cider vinegar (for the wellness girlies)

Shake everything except the ginger beer. Pour over ice in a salted or hot honey–rimmed glass. Top with ginger beer. Want it sweeter or less gingery? Swap in some Sprite or sparkling water and use less ginger beer. Easy.

Let’s talk about alcohol and fat loss. Because spoiler alert… I’ve lost 25 pounds since quitting, and no, I didn’t suddenly become a kale smoothie influencer or start cross fitting but ass off.

✨ I stopped drinking.

I was already doing all the “right” things. Lifting weights. Eating decent. Pretending I liked protein powder. Hot girls walks etc.

Here’s the deal no one talks about: when you drink, your body hits pause on fat-burning. Like a full stop. It can take 6 to 36 hours before your metabolism even thinks about doing its job again. So if you’re sipping on the regular, your fat burn is basically ghosted.

Also? Alcohol:
• Makes you think late-night nachos are a personality
• Adds empty calories that do nothing for you
• Wrecks your sleep
• Jackhammers your hormones (especially if you’re midlife and trying not to lose your damn mind)

Once I quit, I didn’t even try that hard. My food choices got better, I ate to balance my blood sugar, my cravings chilled out, my puffiness packed its bags, and the scale finally moved. Not from restriction. Just from removing the sneaky little thing that was quietly holding me back.

This isn’t about being good or bad. It’s about being honest. And for me? The wine wasn’t working.

So if you’re crushing workouts and still stuck… maybe it’s not your workout. Maybe it’s your wine.
